The Most Powerful Therapy for Body and Mind Detoxification and Resetting.

In my experience over four decades of clinical practice and personal experimentation, fasting is the single most powerful therapy you can do for your body and mind. It's not just about abstaining from food or entering ketosis. It's about giving your body the space it desperately needs to heal, to detoxify, and to disconnect from the parasitic and addictive influences that have been controlling your thoughts, cravings, feelings, and behaviors.

Question: Have you ever fasted with water for a 24 to 36 hour period?

Fasting is a great temporary way to kick start the body's detoxification process and to reset your cravings and taste away from processed foods and other addictive things we do on a daily basis.

First of all, "Real Fasting" means to me when we deprive all foods except for water for an extended period of time. Remember you can fast from just about anything and there are many ways and variables to fasting. For example: a subcategory of fasting could be refraining from drinking toxic high sugary sodas, fasting from solid food only having a variety of liquids and so on. You can explore "Intermittent Fasting" daily protocols, which I am currently doing.

Another quick example of my daily fasting time schedule: I fast for about 18 hours a day from an evening meal at around 9 pm and then I don't ingest any solid food only liquids throughout the day until around a late lunch at 2 to 3 pm. Once I eat my lunch, then I will fast again for 5 to 6 hours drinking liquids only after about 90 minutes from any solid food and then have dinner around 9 pm. So that's about 16 to 18 hours without solid food.

You can also do what's called block fasting which is fasting for several days at a time leading to deeper detoxification through a condition or process of the body called ketosis. Ketosis usually occurs after about 2 to 3 days of water fasting. Once all of the sugar, glucose, and glycogen that is stored in the liver and muscles is depleted ketosis then kicks in for an alternative fuel source from the body eating at itself from the inside out. This is a great short term way to support detoxification, regeneration and rejuvenation to the body.

What Happens When You Fast

When you fast, something profound and immediate starts happening. Your body shifts into a state of deep cellular repair when you fast with liquids. The lymphatic system finally gets a chance to move stagnant waste that's been stored in your tissues for years. Your mind becomes clearer as the parasites that have been feeding off your constant eating patterns and commands begin to weaken and release their grip. I've witnessed this transformation countless times during our 21 Day Hawaiian Detox Retreats, where hundreds of participants over the years have discovered a version of themselves they didn't know existed.

In 21 days, removing 12 to 25 pounds of toxic waste and inflammation from the body and mind just from liquid fasting and of course practicing daily most of the detoxification protocols we offered at the retreat from learning and practicing exercise/stretching 90 minute yoga class, daily sauna detoxification, cold plunge, daily full body sun, antiparasitic protocols, IV therapies and a variety of other protocols like skin and pore cleaning and massage.

Learning and practicing a variety of detoxification and rejuvenation protocols while fasting and resting is very beneficial to add to your lifestyle.

The truth is, most people have never truly experienced what their body is capable of when it's not constantly digesting food and taking a break from the food people are eating that is suboptimal, full of chemicals, pesticides, GMOs, ultra processed products, etc.

We spend so much energy breaking down meals that we forget our bodies are designed to be self cleaning, self healing machines. Through water fasting, block fasting, and intermittent fasting protocols, you give your system permission to do what it does best: purge toxins, eliminate parasites, and regenerate at the cellular level.

The Power of Ketosis

What makes fasting so effective is the state of ketosis it creates. When you stop feeding on sugar and carbohydrates, your body begins burning stored fat for fuel, producing ketones that actually feed your brain better than glucose ever could. This is when the magic happens. This is when addictions begin to break, when mental clarity returns, when inflammation reduces, and when your body starts accessing those deep tissue stores where toxins and metabolic waste have been hiding.

I've personally guided hundreds of patients and students through fasting journeys, from beginners taking their first steps with simple intermittent fasting to advanced practitioners completing 21 or even 31 day water fasts for so called incurable diseases. The transformations are real. The healing is measurable both personally and visually to the eye. The freedom people experience is undeniable and changes their mindset and lives forever.
