Hi Dr Cassar,
My partner and I have started doing the skin cleaning protocol and are already seeing immediate results. My partner is dealing with tinea versicolor and has a couple of large outbreaks on his chest. He’s been cleaning his skin, using fulvic acid and relubricating before going to lay out in the sun. Today for some reason he felt like he needed to put sunscreen on the spots. I asked him why and he replied that he didn’t want them to scar from exposing them to the sun. I was wondering if you could clarify if it’s ok to expose the tinea versicolor outbreaks to direct sunlight after doing the skin cleaning protocol. Thank you so much!

Going out into the sun is part of the therapy after you have cleaned and lubricated your skin. The Tinea Versicolor overtime will start to recede, but it may take up to 6 months to get full remission.
