What is distilled water?
Distilled water is water that has been heated to the boiling point so that impurities are separated from the water, which itself becomes vapor or steam. Steam is then condensed back into pure liquid form. The impurities remain as residue and are removed. STEAMPURE Distillation Systems remove waterborne biological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, organic and inorganic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile gases, cysts and other contaminants. Distilled water contains virtually no solids, minerals or trace elements. It is clean, natural and healthy. Steam distilled water is the standard by which all other waters are measured.
Why use distillation?
Distillation is the single most effective method of water purification and can be used throughout the world on all types of incoming water. Unlike other treatment methods such as carbon filters and reverse osmosis, our systems are effective on virtually all contaminants and are not dependent on water pressure, water temperature, pH, or chlorine and can even be used on water containing bacteria and parasites and still produce safe, 99.9% pure water.
What maintenance is required?
The units are designed for little maintenance in normal situations. Once per week the boiling tank should be drained to dispose of the contaminants which have been removed from your drinking water (the automatic drain units do this automatically). The boiling tank should be cleaned once per month, although this may vary depending on water conditions in your area. Each unit also incorporates an activated carbon post-filter which requires changing every three months. (Less than 4 USD a month)
Are distillation systems expensive to operate?
Distillation systems use about 3 kWh of electricity for each gallon of water that is distilled. The national average cost of electricity per kWh in the US is 6¢ which means each gallon of distilled water costs about 18¢, a fraction of the cost of buying bottled water! You can find your personal cost per gallon by multiplying 3 times the kWh rate in your area.
Does distilled water leach minerals from my body?
Absolutely, not…in fact just the opposite has been found to occur in cellular research studies. It is a mistaken belief that drinking pure distilled water reduces valuable minerals from living human tissues.
There are two types of minerals, organic and inorganic. Human physiology has a biological affinity for organic minerals. Most organic minerals for our body functions come from dietary plant foods. A growing plant converts the inorganic minerals from the soils to a useful organic mineral.
Tap water presents a variety of inorganic minerals which our body has difficulty absorbing. Their presence is suspect in a wide array of degenerative diseases, such as hardening of the arteries, arthritis, kidney stones, gall stones, glaucoma, cataracts, hearing loss, emphysema, diabetes, and obesity. What minerals are available, especially in “hard” tap water, are poorly absorbed, or rejected by cellular tissue sites, and, if not evacuated, their presence may cause arterial obstruction, and internal damage Even if the human tissue suddenly developed the ability to absorb inorganic minerals from tap water, it would take an enormous amount of tap water to supply the bare minimal mineral quantities for human life functions. If (for example) the rich inorganic mineral content of the tap water in Reno, Nevada were modified so that it would convert the daily Calcium requirement (RDA) from its inorganic calcium solutes, you would have to drink 7.4 gallons of their tap water!

FAQ
Q: What is it that looks like rust on inner seams of boiling chamber, soldering spots and in the chamber?
A: What you are seeing is the fusion zone from welding. These are only formed where the metal is welded together. It is not rust, just de-colorization.

This thing is awesome. At first, I was like “sigh…yet another chore to do on a daily basis…” but then after using it for a few weeks, this thing will really detoxify your body, as well as make your water cleaner than pretty much any other water you could ever hope to get.
One last thing to note is that it has really given me a sense of mental satisfaction knowing that the water I’m drinking and using for my teas and smoothies is extremely clean. Yummy yum 😀

Like the first review, it’s awesome. This is the best tasting, fresh and pure water I’ve ever had the pleasure to drink. It takes about 6-7 hours to fill the gallon glass jug. I drink at least a gallon a day, so I fill, one of two jugs, every night when I go to sleep. A good deal that it comes with an extra jug and four extra filters. If you’re on the fence about this unit, you won’t regret for a minute that you bought it. The water is amazing!

Been using it alongside my reverse osmosis filtration system to put in less Total dissolved solubles in the distiller. Best deal I could find.
Started using on the new Moon March 16 2018. It’s been fantastic. Plus you get earther academy vids to look at for 6 months to keep you learning and motivated. I’ve already watched most of them. Excited to feel the next steps unfolding towards properly aligning a pathway of my true human goals.

Aloha Alexander :)) My first daughter is named Alexandra :))
Great to hear you are using your distiller and RO system. I like to clean the water as much as I can before adding to the Steam Distiller so I don’t have to clean it as much.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the vids and the journey that never ends :)) Nice for you to inspire others with your process using the Terrain Modification protocols and make a few vids on your mind and body transformations for us :))
:)) Dr. Robert

I bought SteamPure because it’s made in the United States of America and Dr. Cassar recommended it. I bought this SteamPure water distiller from Earther Academy instead of the manufacturer’s website because 1. it was less expensive here than ANY other seller, 2. I received two glass jars instead of the one the other sellers offered, and 3. why wouldn’t I buy it here after points 1 and 2 especially considering it’s the one Dr. Cassar recommends when he’s such an honest, candid and forthright man that is transparent about everything he talks about.
Now, about this countertop SteamPure distiller: I bought this unit I think about 7 years ago and have used it nearly daily since. I have to clean out the hard water deposits about every 3 months and I clean it the way Dr. Cassar recommended, with white vinegar. Except I barely dilute the vinegar because I’m impatient perhaps, so I dump a gallon of white vinegar in it, let it sit overnight, then the next morning I use a bottle brush to brush the inside where the deposits accumulated, then drain and rinse. Done.
The machine also came with 4 of the charcoal taste filters that fit on the end, which are recommended to be replaced I think every 3 months, which is about right but sometimes they can last longer. Now here’s the weird thing with my particular unit: I’ve had to replace the microswitch that’s tripped by the float 3 times since I’ve had it. I bought the first replacement of the microswitch at https://mypurewater.com and that failed about 3 months later after cleaning the machine one time and the people at https://mypurewater.com replaced that switch for FREE. When that one failed about 6 months later I bought another switch but called the company and left a message. A guy from that company called me back the next day, I told him I’d buy another switch but asked if it was normal for this switch to go out so quickly. He said that switch almost never fails and it’s almost always the heating element that fails because most people never clean the machine. So clean the machine regularly like Dr. Cassar recommends, and which I can attest to as I’ve never had any problem with the heating element and it’s working perfectly still. The mypurewater guy said if I wanted to send the machine in so they can determine why the microswitch is failing I could do that but it hasn’t failed again, yet.
So there is my report. I’m completely satisfied with this machine and use it nearly every day since I bought it about 7 years ago and it’s still working like a champ. I’m GRATEFUL to Dr. Cassar for giving me such a great deal on this SteamPure machine which was $100 less than any other seller at the time I bought it and also included an extra bottle which the other seller was asking $50 for plus shipping.
Robert, you’re an asset to this world and I appreciate your honesty. Thanks!
Joseph

I forgot to mention that the first microswitch didn’t fail until about 5 years of daily use and it failed after I cleaned it and I suspect I was slamming the floater inside when I was brushing. The 2nd one failed in about 3 months, again after cleaning. The 3rd one failed about 6 months after that, again right after cleaning. The current switch has not yet failed and I’ve cleaned it at least twice since it was put in, maybe because I’m extremely careful with the float when scrubbing the inside. So clean it when the deposits build up and be careful with the float if scrubbing the inside. Other than that this machine is spectacular and the water it produces is the absolute best tasting water.
