I have been on a high-carb / low-fat raw vegan diet for the past three months and it hasn’t been working because of the fat / parasites / candida that I have. So now I am day water fasting (day 5) and plan on going at least 10 days (I can only take so much time off work) but I want to go to the ketogenic diet with One Meal A Day (OMAD) / Intermittent Fasting after the fast. I want to implement the terrain modification protocols. My question is how do you intake food that is fermented fruits and veges on a keto diet? I get that most, if not all, of the sugars in the fruits and veges are used up in the fermentation process, but is it not still a carb? I want to ferment most of my foods as Dr. Cassar does. It is too bad there isn’t a Fermentation group here as well.
Great question John. It would be good to know what the carb levels would be in the ferments. To know how much you can take of the ferments and still maintain the Keto would be great.
