ALOHA. Mahalo! I have an idea to share. I mist my plants with a spray bottle that has the word LOVE written on it in marker with a pink foam sticker <3. In the kitchen and from seeds from my own fruit from the grocery store, I'm growing a sturdy little orange tree, a stiff little plum tree, a green onion monster size (for some reason they green up the leaves of orange trees) , parsley that NEver stops (soon Tarzan can use it to swing on), small grapefruit treeling, a blood orange treeling, (what do you call a tree when it is just beginning?) SAPLING. Oh yes. An avocado tree stick that lost all it's leaves but it still alive and rerouting since I gingerly pruned it :), a 7 year old Mauna Loa that needs encouragement. (When repotting, use FRESH dirt not the slimy stuff. I think that's what is wrong) I also play binaural plant music for ten minutes on my cell for them sometimes. When I do, the next day I look at them closely they are putting out shiny new leaves! I also bought the thinnest, but loud, tinkly little wind chimes that I will hang outside my kitchen window. Plants LOATHE heavy metal rock music and will literally climb a wall to get away from it. Have you noticed how much of TV news has it as it as theme song nowadays? (HANNITY ON FOX, ETC.). Every day I go out and pick a couple more blackberries that have riped from red to dark purple. These are being saved in the freezer until there is enough to make a miniature cobbler. Since Hubby is constantly destroying my efforts by mowing my berry plants (they attract SNAKES), I planted them around a palm tree that has the dried up arms all over it was sloppily pruned each year. They LOVE wrapping around and growing on it and the arms are like spoons that hold some rainwater so they are perfect. HE DOESN'T NOTICE and his riding lawn mower can't reach it. Ha. Reminds me of those clay strawberry jars that I forget to water. THIS IS BETTER.
