ALOHA! HAPPY Pōʻaono (Saturday) :)) Do you ever wonder why yogurt bacteria (acidophilis) and yeast bacteria are incompatible and consume each other? I’m always trying to make things I’m afraid one day I won’t be able to buy! So I looked up where each came from. A COW. A cow has 7 stomachs and is an assembly line chemical factory making milk from chewed grass. Spurred by insatiable curiosity, I wondered: What about Baking Soda? What about Cream of Tartar? YES AND YES. I was amazed. Something else called Rennet (cheese and ingredient to brew alcohol and beer). Hydrochloric acid (probably the first stomach)! That’s six. There’s a 7th if someone knows? So, if we are yeasty, ferment will help. If we overdo the ferment, we will crave yeast products.
