I read somewhere else that if yeasty smell, to throw it out so I started over. This time with just sweet coconut milk, coconut (for fiber because it likes to grow in fiber), 2 T. of brandy, and magnetized water. I wonder if I was opening the jar too often. It smelled really good until it didn’t. I will let you all know. PS I watched all the tutorials on eartheracademy but didn’t know about when to call it quits on a ferment. I didn’t want to keep wasting sugar and thought it best I start over. May add some bananas at some point. In any case, I have a coconut milk starter (or will when I get a probiotic capsule). If I had been SMART I would have skimmed off the yeast, dried it, and baked with it! Also, if I was SMART I wouldn’t put alcohol (yeast) in my ferments! Now I need to get some probiotic pills to put in it or at least some yogurt. That’ll gobble up the yeast! I think
