In your classes of human parasites lecture you mentioned that we can get hookworm if we walk barefoot. I happen to ground on grass while barefoot, is getting hookworm something that I should be concerned about? I live in Canada so wasn’t concerned about it for that reason. I also grounded on ground I thought was clean while visiting India for a bit. Please elaborate on how to protect myself while still being able to ground, and how concerned A Canadian needs to be about this kind of thing. Thank you.
