is the yerba mate unsmoked? it smells like BBQ after making Kombucha!!

Does anyone here suffer from long term psoriasis ie over 10 year period and who have used some of Dr Cassars techniques to improve or eliminate their skin disease?

Hi there,
Had a couple questions about the probiotic brews.

1 – Does adding fruit to the brew ( lets say a pineapple ) change the taste of the brew in any way? Or is it just an additional source of sugar for the bacteria?

2 – Can you add Limes and Lemons to the brew? Is the acid in them harmful to the bacteria?
