Anyone giving their pets chlorella?
I give mine 5 tabs a day for/with breakfast. They love it. And it seems to give them super, unmanigable energy!Freakonate posted a new activity comment 9 years, 10 months ago
I have small dogs though and only 2 of them. So I just share what I have on hand already.

Personally I add Diatomaceous Earth to their homemade food every night. I also add MSM, Sole and Fulvic Acid to their water. I give them a dropper of Liquid Oxygen every night along with a dropper of Zeolites. I give them Chlorella as a snack daily and also Spirulina with Astaxanthin from Mercola after dinner every day.

I hear that Diatomaceous Earth works really well also. You should look into that. I am going to give that a try soon,

Well I know that some people are dedicated pet raw foodists, but personally I am not. I raised them raw, but they both stopped eating it at one point. They just didn’t enjoy it any more and I tbink they like to enjoy their food just as much as we do. So I purchase a dehydrated veggie product for dogs from http://www.drharveys.com and also products from dr mercolas’ s pet site and I play around…Read More

How did the Diatomaceous Earth work out for you because I was thinking about getting some.

There is a product callex SpiruGreen in the healthy pets section of Dr. Mercola’s site that would probably be beneficial to your dog. Mine absolutely love it and their fur got super smooth and soft.

Actually I do recall something about disolving cataracts. But it slips my mind at the moment. Look for articles at mercola.com and his healthy pet section. Also, try drharveys.com.

Has anyone used Zeolites with your pets? If so, what was your experience with it?

With as many members as there are, I’m surprised there isn’t more discussions going on. I figured the forums would be on fire.

Welcome new members!
I would love to hear what others do to keep their pets healthy. Right now I can’t afford a whole lot but I do make their meals feom fresh and dehydrated ingredients, including grass fed and local meats, pastured eggs, raw fats, chia seeds, hemp seeds and a little black walnut hull powder to keep parasites at bay.Freakonate posted a new activity comment 10 years, 2 months ago
Transitioning over to a balanced, species appropriate diet along with pet friendly superfoods is a good start. Fleas and ticks don’t like dogs or cats or even humans who smell good. Deluted Apple Cider Vinegar rinse works well too. Also a few dabs of peppermint oil on their fur is a great deterrent. Plus, they’ll smell awesome!

Oh yeah? I haven’t used any of Earthshifts products for lack of funds, but that’s good to know for when I can get on the program.

That’s good. But make sure to add sea minerals or Sole Salt to their water because dead, de-mineralized water could make them sick. I also add MSM and Fulvic Acid to their water. Also, immediately fter their walks I give them a bowl of blue – green water and they seem to love it.

I am wondering if any males over the age of 30 have lost their leg hair, specifically the shin area and if anyone has any theories behind what this may be caused by. And any ideas on how to restore it.

Looking forward to hearing about what others in the community do to keep their pets healthy. I, myself, share whatever I have on hand at any given time with my two dogs and two cats and will go into more detail after I find out if anyone else here is interested in this group.
