OK. Guys. DON’T try to make Kahlua in one step. In fact, I would suggest several steps. Those that lead into a Walmart liquor store! I tried to make rum and vodka in the same jar at the same time with coffee and it was a disaster. I don’t think I will try fermenting probiotic coffee either. I believe that is popular in Vietnam. I also tried to make some vodka and it smells “good” as in you could mix it with fruit juice and probably get a yeast infection. It isn’t tasteless, and it isn’t clear. Not enough to use as a body cleaning solution. (I’m still using clear imitation almond extract.) If I try out any more of what my husband calls concraptions, I will make a teeny sample before I waste pounds of sugar.
