OK, this is random, but I heard that if you have an AM radio with a long antenna, turn it on between stations so you get static and then sweep the room with it and if you hear it change to a more pleasant “white noise” it is pointing out a listening device in the room.

Would a Quartz (as opposed to citrine or amethyst) crystal necklace work as well, or would that kind of crystal turn me into an AM/FM radio?
