Well, I had my own recipe for RABBIT SALAD (WITH A HARD BOILED EGG ON THE SIDE) and EARTHER FLAX CRACKERS for early supper and later, a small bowl of my THAI CURRY AND RICE (RECIPE POSTED) using boiled eggs instead of chicken. Not too bad but next time, I’ll eat the egg separately. I ran out of the canned curry paste so I made my own and wow, it was so fresh and good! These are the…Read More

TODAY, I am making some more of those delicious FLAX SEED crackers that Dr. Cassar makes. I add Caraway seed to the regular recipe, not the Superfood version with the added ingredients and seaweeds. Because I don’t have a dehydrator and leaving them in an oven for 3 days on off and low WON’T WORK TRUST ME, I will pour them into circles and bake them on both sides. That makes them Pita…Read More

Here is another favorite recipe for THAI CURRY CHICKEN without the CHICKEN. It comes from a restaurant that used to be in Destin, Florida called “Thai Delights”.
Simmer and steam (or Marinate Overnight, if RAW, add some fulvic acid or rice wine vinegar to soften) in coconut butter or olive oil (olive oil adds some color to imitate chicken), and water: cooked chicken (or make dish tas…Read MoreFrederique Corswarem joined the group Everything to do with Dreams. 7 years, 7 months ago

Another random thing to share: We had a whole backyard of white and yellow daisies, two kinds of purple wildflowers, dandelions and lantana (a flowering bush found in Florida with tiny hot pink and yellow petals or orange and yellow ones, intricate). I look at a sea of flowers and think, “Beautiful!” Husband thinks, “Snakes.” OK, so he kills one or two every time he mows. Some are…Read More

Athena’s Spicy Hawaiian Rice (vegetarian or vegan??)~ In a microwaveable glass bowl, (minced garlic—-totally optional!), red onion, bell pepper, celery, chili powder (like you flavor chili with-has cumin), ginger, clove, cinnamon, chicken bouillon (OR Poultry Seasoning and some olive oil OR Sage), Sole salt, mixed veggies (corn, carrot, peas, green beans), pineapple pieces, and some…Read More

OK, this is random, but I heard that if you have an AM radio with a long antenna, turn it on between stations so you get static and then sweep the room with it and if you hear it change to a more pleasant “white noise” it is pointing out a listening device in the room.

Athena’s Red Beans and Rice~ Bear in mind I cook this, but I’m trying to adapt for a raw diet here and HAVE NOT TRIED the alternative! (could the RAW CHEF do that?)
Soak 1 lb. dried red kidney beans overnight or boil in 12 c. waterfor 1 hr., let set for 1 hr., and cook for about 1 hr. or until soft(I put 2 aspirins in the water to soften quicker because I don’t have my fulvic acid) 2 c…Read MoreSylvia Crisler joined the group Original Healthy Recipes 7 years, 7 months ago
