I am only able to purchase one at this time,either a water steam distiller , or a water alkalizer, which one should I get first, and why?

I’ve been thinking about buying a water distiller, but I’m kind of confused. Dr. Cassar always says that stainless steel is nickelware “not good”. I know he uses a distiller, but those distillers are all stainless…how could that be safe?
