Thyroid Health Using Transdermal Iodine and Sea Vegetables – The main fuel supply of the thyroid is Iodine. This is what I call a master gland because this gland is very special to the body’s myriad of functions.

How many people do you think feel constantly tired, head foggy or are 1 of the 100 million obese or overweight, toxic or mineral deficient? Literally millions of people people in the USA feel and look this way.

There are many factors which work against us in our quest for foods high in iodine: nutritional depletion of the soil, crop land naturally deficient around the mid-west and the Great Lake region of the U.S., and chemical additives to our food including bromate, fluoride, bromide and halogens which displace iodine in our system.

Most of us are biologically iodine deficient for sure. The high prevalence of sugar, refined carbohydrates and rancid vegetable oils prevent the absorption of iodine in the body. We have all invariably ingested these toxins into our systems – knowingly or unknowingly in one way or another.

The thyroid gland covers the windpipe from three sides. The hormones of the Thyroid gland, T3 & T4, help the body to produce & regulate adrenaline, epinephrine, and dopamine; all three of which are active in brain chemistry.

Other hormones from this gland also help regulate metabolism. Without a functional thyroid, the body would not be able to break down proteins, and it would not be able to process carbohydrates and vitamins.

For this reason, glandular problems can lead to uncontrollable weight gain. Vitality and cellular metabolism are some of the main functions of the thyroid.

Plant Iodine is also found in many varieties of sea vegetables which all grow in the salt water seas. The fresh water veggies like lettuce, broccoli or spinach all have a small amount of iodine if grown properly in mineral rich soils.

Where do I find iodine in food? The best and most abundant sources are from the oceans all across the planet.

So, it’s really hard to get your daily iodine from the land plants and foods because of the de-mineralized and poisoned soils used in commercial farming in the USA and any commercially grown food.

The ocean sea veggies are loaded with plant and usable iodine, we have a full organic wholesale selection of the best of sea veggies at earthshiftproducts.com

To process the Brown Seaweed Extract it takes 40 pounds of raw material to make 1 pound of the concentrate. Not only do the sea veggies have the master glands fuel of Iodine but they are also loaded with a variety of sea minerals.

What I recommend to patients is to start to add these sea veggies daily to their diet and also supplement with Lugol’s Iodine transdermally with Ionic Magnesium Chloride on the wrists to bring back up the levels of iodine to the cells.

      Hi Dayne.

We’ve put up several new videos on Thyroid Protocols (See more here: https://eartheracademy.com/?s=iodine) – Iodine should easily absorb through any part of the skin. It will usually take 15 min to 2 hours to completely disappear. If you are having a problem with the Iodine absorbing, clean your skin with the Vodka Skin Cleaning Solution.

Once you have cleaned your skin add the Iodine to your skin and it should absorb much quicker 🙂
