I promise you this “Cacao Energy Breakfast Tea” recipe is full of the best type of processable calories from raw oils, seeds, super mineralized, full of fiber, spices and loads of thick creamy chocolate flavor that is non dairy.

The Yerba Mate Tea and Cacao Nibs are the main activators, along with the other excitation ingredients we are going to use, always gives me an all day boost of energy, creativity and stamina.

The variety of oils and minerals in this drink give me creative long lasting energy, instead of a quick sugar fix and then a sugar crash.

Cacao Energy Breakfast Tea Recipe:

Try to use only organic if you can.

This 64 oz recipe will make 2 x 32+ ounce breakfast teas. I always make enough for 2 days and store the other 32 ounces in the refrigerator and have it cold the next day. If you are going to only make 32 ounces then cut the recipe in half.

Tea:

  • Bring 64 ounces of Distilled water with 2 heaping tbsp of Unsmoked Organic Yerba Mate Tea to boil and then let simmer for 5 minutes
  • Put brewed Yerba Mate Tea, strained into a Vita Mix blender

Ionic Minerals:

Cacao:

NOTE: Cacao powder is not the same as cacao nibs.

The compounds in cacao nibs are called PEA or phenylethlamine (Love molecule) and their strength, energy, euphoria and nutrition are found only in the whole bean or cracked beans called nibs.

Cacao powder is simply for flavor and does not have the MAO’s and other compounds in the processed powder so you don’t get any virtues in the cacao bean.

Powders:

Sweetness:

  • 2 small Organic Bananas (optional)
  • 10 drops Organic Liquid Stevia or 1/4 tsp of Green Stevia Powder (zero calories for ketogenic diet)

Fiber:

Protein:

Algae and Super Greens:

Oils:

Optional:

Flavor:

  • 1 tsp Raw Ground Vanilla Bean Powder (If you use the Vanilla you do not need to add the spices below, but if you do not Vanilla then the spices give it that special flavor)
  • 1/8 tsp or a Sprinkle Coriander
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/8 tsp or a Sprinkle Cardamon
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Pumpkin Spice
  • 1/8 -1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Nutritional Yeast Flakes (1 tsp Natural Yeast Flakes = B vitamins and cheesy flavor)

In part 2 and 3 are going to go over how I soak and sprout the Organic Raw Apricot Kernels, and how I use them as a maintenance dosage consistently throughout the year. Also, it would be a good idea to watch How I Use Amygdaline for Maintenance and Therapy

  1. I have been drinking Cacao Energy Breakfast Tea every day for the past few months and love it. I also try to drink 2×32 ounces of either Red beat extract and chlorella or Red beat extract and Blue-green algae. I also add silica and iconic magnesium and MSM or Borax. My question for you can I taking to much of the superfoods?

      Hi Kevin.

Yes, you can. Superfoods are very nutrient dense. Not only in vitamins and minerals, but they also have oxalates in them which are the defense mechanisms for plants, so parasites won’t eat them. Cacao or all dark chocolate have a lot of oxalates in them, so it is good to only have cacao 2-3 times per week instead of large amounts every day. The Cacao Energy Breakfast Tea shouldn’t be a problem if you use 1 Tbsp in your smoothie.

      Hope that helps :))

  2. I left my second shake on the counter for two days instead of the refrigerator. It fermented, it’s sour, and it smells like yogurt. What do you think? Is it good bacteria growing, or don’t chance it? I’m not going to chance this one, but for the future.

Also, good info in the comment/answer above. I’ve been drinking this just about everyday, and adding two scoops of cacao nibs. I’ll drop the amount of oxalates per week.

    Thanks for everything.

      Hi Kyle.

Fermented shakes are fine to drink. I leave mine on the counter sometimes as well, and the next day it is slightly fermented.

I would be careful having Cacao every day, because for a lot of people it will upset your stomach and give you some bloating.

I eat Cacao 2-3 times per week instead of everyday like I used to. I found creativity from Cacao is better when using it once in a while.

      Thanks :))

      Dr. Robert
