I am going to show you how I successfully treated a Brown Recluse Spider bite on my hand, without having to go to the hospital or take any medications from the severe pain, swelling and infection usually accompanying the spider bite area.

I will show you several effective home based therapies and treatments I have used, learned and experimented with to either neutralize or slow down the debilitating effects of the venom, with miraculous results. As well as, a variety of therapies I used for the spider bite, including but not limited to, chlorine dioxide and a Pulsed Electronic Magnetic Field (PEMF) on the bite side.

Since I used several therapies at once, I am not sure what specific therapy helped the most, or if all of the therapies I did was the key to my success of totally stopping the poisonous venom from destroying my soft tissues and bone from the bite area.

Brown recluse spider bites can be extremely dangerous and painful for several weeks or longer.

After the treatments I did; within 4 days, I was totally perfect and had no symptoms at all from the poisonous bite.

I know from my last recluse spider bite years ago, that this potent poison is serious business.

What If You Could Not Get Medical Help For Your Venomous Bite?

I will share with you some of the protocols I used that may help you if you could not get medical help.

It’s always best to get medical intervention if you can, but not all people can get to the hospital fast enough, or live in areas where medical care sometimes is scarce.

The current brown recluse spider bite had bitten me on the right hand on top of the 3rd and 4th knuckle. After a few hours the bite area was so inflamed and painfully sore the average layperson would have definitely gone to the hospital for treatment and pain relief.

One secret to any type of bite is to sanitize and clean the bite or wound.

If you have ever got bit by a Black Widow or Brown Recluse you know how much pain, swelling and damage this little bite can cause.

“The severity of symptoms depends on each individual victim’s immune response and the amount of venom injected by the spider; 90% of bites heal without complications. Three percent of brown recluse bites, however, eventually require a skin graft.” – src: Laboratory Testing in Monitoring the Effects of Brown Recluse Spider Bites

This is my right hand the first night of my brown recluse spider bite. As you can see the severe swelling in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th knuckles. At this stage I had severe pain and limitation when I tried to move the knuckles. I could not make a loose fist in this picture  – the internal muscles and joints seemed very inflamed to try and move them without excruciating pain.

I can easily see why most people go to the hospital to get these spider bites treated because of the swelling and pain that they cause.

“Brown recluse spider venom is more toxic than rattlesnake venom, but the quantity of spider venom injected in the bite of a brown recluse is typically smaller than the venom delivered in a rattlesnake bite.” – src: Laboratory Testing in Monitoring the Effects of Brown Recluse Spider Bites

Further into the description I will also talk about a close call I had from a highly venomous viper rattlesnake bite that almost killed me.

Once you have been bitten by a venomous creature; you have total respect for the creatures that have any type of poison as their weapons for hunting, defense and protection of other creatures.

Did you know that poisons from venomous creatures kill over 100,000+ people a year?

At least, for many types of venomous snake bites, if you are unlucky not to have a hospital that has antivenom treatments available, or do not know any other known effective home remedies, you can be in big trouble very quickly.

Venomous spider bites can be just as deadly as venomous snake bites.

The Fangs Of A Brown Recluse Spider

When you look at a brown recluse spider you really never get a chance to see the poisonous weaponry this little spider has to defend and protect itself with, and use to kill its dinner.

The tiny brown recluse spider, gram for gram, has one of the most powerful poisons, more than any of the other creatures that also have venom.

Pictures below are of the fang of a brown recluse spider from a high power electron microscope.

Notice, the brown recluse has two extremely sharp fangs that inject the super potent poisonous venom into their victims.

My Spider Bite Story

Can you imagine this tiny brown recluse spider has the ability to kill a large human?

Brown Recluse is also called the Violin Spider. Can you see the violin on the back of the spider?

I was moving some firewood next to the house and felt a small prick on my right knuckle. There was not any pain associated with the bite so I didn’t think much of it at the time. It sort of felt like I was poked by a small splinter in the firewood on the top of my hand, not even thinking I was bitten by something.

Several hours after I was bitten, the bite area started to get a little red with slight swelling and a lot of intense itching, sort of like you were bitten by 10 mosquito bites in one area.

Slowly throughout the day my right top of my 3rd knuckle started to swell and became very stiff when I was clenching a fist.

Over the next hour, my hand inflexibility started to become more noticeable and the pain was starting to ache deep inside my knuckles and bone.

I had a burning sensation and a feeling like my fingers and knuckles were intensely inflamed, not just the soft tissue but deep into the bone.

So, I put a flexible ice pack on my slightly swollen and red knuckle, in the area of the 3rd and 4th digits on the top of the hand.

I also added several drops of concentrated Fulvic Acid, 5% Lugos Iodine Solution and a few sprays of Ionic Magnesium Trace Minerals to the swollen knuckle area to sanitize and disinfect the area.

Later in this description I will go into specific details about the treatments and protocols I used.

My hand was starting to throb a little when I was going to bed. After a few hours of sleeping I woke up with excruciating pain, and much more than a few hours earlier.

I could see there were two small infected holes of some kind on the top of my hand from the bite.

After a restless sleep, I woke up early in the morning and could not believe how sore my hand and knuckle joints were. The pain was constant and was throbbing if I didn’t hold my hand above my heart.

I couldn’t wait to ice my hand because I was in constant pain!

The day after the bite, I investigated the area where I was moving some of the stacked logs from the firewood pile, and found several brown recluse spiders in the logs. I have not seen a brown recluse spider here on the farm for several years.

The swollen and painful hand was now making sense to me with the incessant itching, redness, swelling and intense burning pain I have had over the last 12 hours.

I had no idea previously I was bit by the brown recluse spider until I went back to investigate the crime scene.

I was bitten once before by a brown recluse spider in the thigh area several years ago, and had a difficult time healing the bite area. Redness, pain and swelling was intense for many weeks.

Most people that are bitten by the brown recluse don’t even know they were bitten at all.

The bite is usually pain free, and usually within a few hours the bite area will start to itch and the skin may erupt a circular red colored area at the bite site, along with a burning type of pain.

Once I put together I had been bitten by the brown recluse poison, at this point this is when I really started the experimental treatment program to decrease all symptoms and alleviate the bite.

Higher concentrations of the brown recluse spiders in endemic areas map
This map shows where there are higher concentrations of the brown recluse spiders in endemic areas. Brown recluse spider bites are unlikely outside endemic areas.

All I personally know and can witness first hand is that; when I lived in Southern California and also in Hawaii, there are lots of brown recluses in many other areas of the US to watch out for.

Can A Spider Bite Cause Death?

Brown Recluse and Black Widow spiders are the only two species of poisonous spiders that have enough potent venom to cause death – according to the NCBI report – Insect Bites.

“Brown recluse venom is extremely complex and contains hemolytic enzymes which can cause tissue destruction and necrosis. Diagnosis of uncomplicated brown recluse bites may be difficult as the initial bite is often painless and the spider may go unseen.  Diagnosis is usually based on history, especially if the spider was seen, in conjunction with the presence characteristic dermatologic findings.” src: NCBI  – Insect Bites

The brown recluse spider (also known as loxosceles reclusa) is commonly found in many areas of the United States.

I have been living on the Big island of Hawaii since 2011 and I have seen several friends get bitten by the brown recluse, and had open wounds for several months with infections and deep wounds from the flesh dissolving necrotic venom.

Over the years, I have learned a variety of life saving techniques, protocols, practices and therapies.

I don’t get bitten too often by a poisonous creature, but when I do I like to experiment with my bite and see if I can stop the venom from causing the tissue damage, inflammation and swelling.

Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste

As they say “Never let a good crisis go to waste”.

There are not too many alternative effective treatments for venomous bites. So, I wanted to experiment with several compounds and therapies.

I used concentrated Fulvic Acid, 5% Lugos Iodine Solution, Turpentine (distilled pine oil), cold and hot therapy, Chlorine Dioxide hand soak, and I also used a Magna Wave PMFT (pulsed electronic magnetic field) sine wave machine with much success.

As the spider’s name “recluse” suggests; these spiders do not like light or much activity around them.

These types of spiders like to hide in the dark and wait for their prey to eat. The venom can actually aid in dissolving their prey for pre-digestion.

I have heard of people getting a bite on the hand or foot by putting on old gloves and boots that were in the garage. I found out it’s always good to thoroughly squeeze your gloves and boots before putting them on, to smash any critters hiding in there.

General First Symptoms From A Brown Recluse Bite

Remember; this type of spider bite is usually not painful at all, which makes it very difficult at times to figure out why you may be having some of these symptoms below:

  • Itching
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Inflammation
  • Dry looking skin around the bite area
  • Burning sensation
  • Loss of Flexibility of tissue and joints at the bite site
  • Constant deep ache/pain

Once you are bitten; usually within 1 to 3 days, the venom can start to destroy the skin cells and surrounding tissues both topically and internally around the bite site. The dead skin and tissues medically is known as: necrosis or necrotic tissue meaning “dead” tissue.

The bite can look like a bullseye ring, then start to develop black and grey tissue, a symptom of necrotic or dead tissues.

Brown Recluse Spider Bite Pictures

The pictures below are two different examples of brown recluse spider bites on the hand. When you start to see the grey and blackish tissue; this is a true tale sign of tissue death medically called necrosis.

“Between 1983 and 2009, 42,544 brown recluse spider bites were reported to the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Of these thousands of brown recluse bite victims, only seven died as a result of envenomation.” – src: How Frequently Do People Sustain Medically Harmful And Deadly Brown Recluse Spider Bites

Bitten By The Viper Rattlesnake and I Almost Died

All venomous creatures can cause severe injury or even death. In 2008, I was bitten by the most deadly rattlesnake in North America called the “Southern Pacific Viper – RattleSnake” and found out how powerful the twin venom viper was on my body. In less than an hour of being bitten by this snake I was 80 % paralized from the neck down to my feet.

Many people do not live through the nasty bites of the poison from these types of venomous bites because they do not have antivenom on hand or cannot get the life saving antivenom from the nearby hospital.

Anytime you are bitten by any poisonous creature you really will need to make a decision very quickly what you are going to do to neutralize the poisonous venom.

Snakebites kill at least 80,000 people per year and probably more

I was very lucky to have the antivenom for immediate use that the doctors had to get from 3 hospitals to save my life. Just because you have antivenom available doesn’t mean you will not be allergic to the antivenom.

Some people will get severe side effects from the antivenom treatment like serum sickness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, allergic reactions such: low blood pressure, swollen tongue/face/eyes and anaphylactic shock that can kill you quite easily from just from a few drops of the antivenom.

When they started to administer the antivenom – they had a crash cart and 4 other medical profession people there, just in case I had severe reactions to the venom.

Antivenom, also known as antivenin, venom antiserum, and antivenom immunoglobulin, is a specific treatment for envenomation. It is composed of antibodies and used to treat certain venomous bites and stings. Antivenoms are recommended only if there is significant toxicity or a high risk of toxicity – src: Wikipedia

Each vial of antivenom was approximately $2,000+ for each vial. I used 66 vials to slow down and neutralize the poison from doing more damage.

If the antivenom wasn’t available; the doctor said I would most likely have died and at best we would have to amputate part of my right arm or worse. It all depended on how much venom I got injected into me from the bite. The more poison the more damage will be caused by the snake’s necrotic venom.

The antivenom was a real lifesaver for me, and just from the first IV I started to feel less effects that the poison had on my respiratory and heart. My breathing and heart rate was severely compromised from the bite.

Immediately after receiving my first antivenom treatment – I could start to breathe better again.

Usually a rattlesnake bite only takes about 4 vials of antivenom to start to neutralize the venom bite, but it is not unheard of people using up to 40 vials to neutralize the poison.

Once I had received 45 vials of antivenom from the doctors, they had to call the Poison Control Center and talk to the experts about how much more antivenom they could give the patient, without hurting him or killing him.

The doctor said he has not heard of anyone ever using more that 46 vials of antivenom before, and the poison control center in Arizona said that I had taken the largest amount of antivenom to date which was 66 vials.

So, I am proud to say I have the “World Record” for the most antivenom that has ever been injected into a human for a venomous bite 🙂

All venomous bites can be fatal if not treated correctly, or in time before the poisons start to destroy the cells and tissues.

The viper snake bit me on the hand in the same area as my brown recluse bite I had.

Within minutes of the bite, the pain was excruciating and had a severe searing type of burning pain sensation.

When you are bitten with a venomous creature, the faster the treatment the better the outcome.

The hospital I needed to go to was only 15 minutes away. Within the first 20 minutes of the snake bite my legs were already falling asleep and could not walk without assistance.

After 40 minutes after the initial bite, I was in the emergency room bed in critical care, having severe difficulty in breathing and my heart was slowing down from the poison.

My body was now completely paralyzed, other than a slight movement in my neck and I could move my eyes back and forth – the rest of me felt like I had a huge novocaine shot and was only barely movable.

6 Days In The Hospital From The Snake Bite

I took 66 vials of antivenom, and I was in the ICU with a 24/7 nurse for 6 days and my hospital bills were over $600,000. That was $100K a day for my stay and treatment.

They said I was very lucky not only to live through this ordeal but I was also gifted back my total mobility in my joints as many people become severely disabled and have up to 20 surgeries for skin, muscle, joint and tendon repair from the venom’s damaging and debilitating effects.

So, it’s always a good idea to hear other peoples stories so we can be more careful in our own lives, when we are out in nature or just cleaning out the garage.

Symptoms I had From The Spider Bite In Chronological Order

About an hour after I was bitten by the brown recluse, I had mild itching with a little bit of redness in the bite area. Over the next hour the itching and redness was apparent with me that something was wrong.

Remember, I didn’t know I was bitten by anything at first. I felt a slight splinter prick when I was digging around in the woodpile and I thought it was a small splinter of sharp wood. I didn’t think about it anymore than that.

A few hours later, I started to get a mild swelling over my 3rd and 4th knuckles, and at the same time I was noticing a burning sensation of pain in the same bite area.

Over the next few hours, my bones in the right hand, specifically in the bite area, were really starting to swell, and my range of motion was definitely reduced by at least 50%.

The final symptom for me was severe swelling, inflammation and burning itching pain deep inside my knuckles. I also noticed the skin at the bite area was bright red, extending out in a circle from the bite site.

In the middle of the night I had intense joint stiffness with increased sharp pain when flexing or bending the bite site.

These are the symptoms I had in chronological order that usually can follow any type of venomous bite.

Again, many people will not feel the recluse spider bite right away. So, if you are getting these types of symptoms close to the order I gave them to you; most likely it was a venomous bite and you should start some type of action immediately, even if you only put an ice pack on the bite area.

It’s always best to get medical attention right away. I will always try and treat myself on the injuries I know I can handle.

When I got bit by the viper snake; I knew I had to get to the hospital as fast as I could or else.

I learned most of the experimental protocols, practices and principles I use by trial and error and learning from other cultures, doctors, researchers and common folk.

In order to really learn a therapy or treatment, you must perform the practices on yourself for the ultimate learning.

Second best is to “practice or experiment” with patients in a clinical setting as a researcher or doctor.

The third best is “Hear-say”. This could be a dangerous step if you don’t have the ability to research and look into things further.

Always be cautious, careful and do your own research before experimenting with any hear-say ideas or protocols.

The protocols I use are private for members below, only since I am going to be using some controversial and censored types of treatment and protocols.

I hope you never get bitten by a venomous creature, and if you do, now you will have a few more effective protocols and practices to add to your home health tool chest, using natural types of effective remedies.

Words Of Caution

No one is asking anyone to take a chance on treating your own venomous bites. I wanted to show you alternative methods that can be experimented with when medical access may not be available.

I did have excellent success with the multi therapy approach, and very quick results and total remediation in just a few days instead of a few months like my spider bite before.

I would like to see other doctors and researchers experiment in these areas using electro-medicine and other compounds in venomous bites. Many people die every year and do not have any antivenom available for them.

So, many people are doomed after they get the bite of death from one of these creatures if some type of treatment is not used.

As a researcher myself,  it’s always nice to see other forms of alternative and non-toxic types of treatments, even if they have not been thoroughly tested in many different situations.

I had excellent results from the experimental treatments.
