    FASTING”TORTILLA” SOUP (Mostly water, meatless, and with optional Chick Peas for protein) A good tomato broth when fasting.)

    In 2 T. COCONUT OIL plus 2 T. BLACK OLIVE BRINE (or ORGANIC OLIVE OIL )
    Saute:
    1/8 C. RED ONION
    2 cloves minced GARLIC (or omit)
    1/2 sliced CARROT and 4 in. piece of SLICED CELERY (or substitute CELERY TOP LEAVES or CELERY SEED)
    Add: 10 c. of DISTILLED WATER
    16 ou. CRUSHED TOMATOES WITH JUICE (I used canned)
    1 T. JALAPEÑO from jar or other GREEN CHILIES
    1 BEEF BOUILLON cube
    1 CHICKEN BOUILLON cube
    1 T. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
    1/4 t. of CUMIN
    FAKE THE CHICKEN with 1/4 t. SAGE
    1 c. OR 16 ou. CHICK PEAS (aka Garbanzo Beans) (soak if not from can. They will NOT sprout)

    Heat until carrots go soft. It will get hotter from the chilis the longer it cooks. If too hot, add a teaspoon of cane sugar (dont add Stevia). If not salty enough, add 1 T. sole salt.
    OPTIONAL: break up some TORTILLA CHIPS and float in soup.

    AS A MEAL, Serve with corn bread and Avocado salad (lettuce, tomato, red onion, sliced avocado, cheddar cheese cubes, sole salt and ground red pepper) Drizzle w organic olive oil.

    • If too salty, cook a small potato in the broth and then discard. You can use CHILI POWDER for the CUMIN. Go very light on spices if you are not going to be wearing deodorants.
