    Hi there,

I am 23, living at home, working a part time job, not making much money. I have lost about 25 pounds so far. Dropped from 245lbs, now I am 220lbs. My next milestone is 200, then 180. Then we’ll see from there!

Super beginner started 3 months ago, but taking baby steps and starting to feel like an intermediate as I grow my Earth Shift Kitchen and add protocols. I hope I can help some people out.

    1. I started being more conscious of my water intake. I always drank a lot of water. First thing when I woke up I would drink at least 16oz of water and would stray away from sodas and such. I always gave in occasionally. I drank a lot of alcohol in college mainly because all my friends were and we liked to get drunk, but I am happy to say sugary drinks and alcohol have pretty much completely gone out of taste for me. Mainly because of how counter productive I know they are for me and also how they make me feel sluggish and no on top of my life. Now a few months into this journey the taste is actually not desirable. Though I know in the summer time on the beach I would still enjoy a beer 🙂

    2. I started only consuming Alkaline water ph 9+. I found a franchise called Phountain located 5 minutes from my house and bought a gallon every 2 days for about $1.60 per gallon. Super convenient location which allowed me to stop drinking tap/filtered. Also forced me to drink more water. By being more conscious about the water I put into my body (filtered out of flouride chlorine and stuff too) I realized I began being more conscious of everything I put into my body. My mentality was like.. if I’m paying for healthier water, why would I screw it up by eating and drinking other stuff that’s not good for me. Dr. Cassar’s consciousness has started to penetrate mine at this point haha!

    3. I started brewing my own Kombucha. This is a kick start to the Fun you can have changing your life and doing good for yourself! Anxiously waiting for my scoby to grow and then trying my kombucha for the first time was so exciting! I drank it pretty much everyday as Dr. Cassar suggested morning and lunch replacement. Worked well!

    4. I bought a bunch of products from Earth Shift. First order I bought Cassar’s essentials. Ionic minerals, silica, fulvic acid, and blue green algae. At first didn’t know how to use anything but the blue green. I started drinking blue green algae every day. Made the concentrate then diluted it into a liter of water with chia seeds.

    4. I started fasting from after dinner till at least 12pm. I usually make it to 1, 3pm pretty easily. Sometimes I make it all the way to 7pm before I have my first solid foods meal. I was never the type to feel hungry early in the morning. I would then exercise do a few things and without even thinking it would already be Noon. Drinking blue green algae with chia for breakfast, and kombucha for lunch I didn’t feel hungry till around 3pm. Dr. Cassar says Level 1: fast till noon, Level 2: fast till 3pm, Level 3: fast till 6pm. I’ve done all three but I want to be able to consistently fast till 6pm and eat only 1 meal. Some days I still eat 2 cooked meals.

    5. I bought more Earthshift products including Coconut oil, himalayan salt to make my own Sole salt, all ingredients to make Cassar’s Raw Chocolate (Nibs, cacao powder, lucuma powder, cinnamon, nutmeg) for a lunch replacement, Stevia, Golden berries, Goji berries, Magnesium with living silica spray for my face and body, Guasha tool set.

    6. Made my own raw chocolate.. still haven’t eaten enough to get used to the taste/eat it everyday like Dr. Cassar does. But I have the stuff and I know how to make it so it’s nice to have if I’m hungry before I break my “fast” (he says these are little cheats to get you through). Snacking on goji and golden berries if hungry.

7, At first I just did Guasha in the sauna and didn’t lubricate afterwards. Now I am in a routine where I love to guasha in sauna at least 2 times a week and I always put on coconut oil and spray myself with minerals after every shower/session. This has invigorated me and resets my energy if I’m ever having a bad day! This step has been my most useful one. I feel better when I do it, I love myself more and therefore I am even more willing to work hard and continue down this journey and pick up more disciplines.

    8. Bought a couple books on detoxing and cleansing yourself through diet. I wanted to learn more about toxicity and parasites. Still reading, but it is definitely helping me solidify make my beliefs in this stuff concrete. This stuff is just makes sense.. I don’t need to eat much.. drink a ton of minerals and probiotics and treat your body right! Eat a bit of live foods and get some sun. Like what else do you need!

    9. At this point there’s no going back to the old me, yet it still lingers. I still have cravings for the processed foods like chips cookies and eating at restaurants with my family. But I am much more conscious and if I ever do go out to eat the next day I fast much longer the next day and make sure I poop everything out first before I eat anything again.

    10. Bought a few more products from Earth Shift: all ingredients for the Vodka Skin Cleanser (sodium bicarb, fossil shell flour, MSM powder), Maca powder, Camu Camu powder, more chia seeds, hemp seeds. Also bought some towels for scrubbing, vodka and wooden utensils and a bunch of glass bottles to modify my kitchen.

    11. Now I put in minerals/silica in everything I drink. I try to vodka scrub at least once a week (helps if you have someone to help you). I haven’t really used Maca much, but Camu Camu is amazing for the immune boost. Currently I drink about 3/4th – 1 gallon of Phoutain water a day. And I always fast till 12pm at the very least. Eating 2 meals even seems like a lot to me right now, but its still too much of a habit for me to eat just one meal a day every day.

    12. Finally I just purchased a distilled water machine for $434 from earther academy. Waiting for it to be delivered still. Very excited to try it out and see the results.

All in all I spent about $400 at earth shift, $434 for the distiller, $120 for the membership, $80 for alkaline water for past 3 months, and maybe $100 in additional stuff. I know it is a lot of money but I didn’t spend it all at once. I did rush buying a bunch of earth shift products because once I got the first package there were such great deals and I took advantage of the promo of a free magnesium spray with my order. I was addicted to buying earth shift products. Now I feel like I don’t need any for a looong time (~4 months). The distiller should last well over 5 years. Best investment you can make is in your health, right?!

My transition is kinda slowed down because I live at home with a lot of temptations and my other family members always push me to eat and say that I’m not eating enough and that fasting is not healthy. My mother is in love with carbs. She buys a whole bunch of pastries every week. I see them and I am tempted but a deeper part of me is becoming disgusted by it. I don’t want to be dough anymore! (You become what you eat). I keep on watching Dr. Cassar’s videos for motivation and inspiration. I wish this forum was more active :\ but I hope my experience can help any beginners out there. I mean I just started 3 months ago. By 1 years time I want to pretty much master these basics and have them completely grounded in my routine to the point that I will not change it for anyone or any event.

My one meal a day – typically I minimize my carbs. Rice is big in my family (korean) so its hard to give that up completly, but I have been good at really really cutting it down to like maybe 3 tbsp cooked. I eat a lot of soup (still meat based). Avocados are amazing. Fish and eggs work well with me, or sometimes a bit of beef. Again still transitioning. This is what I do now. I don’t know when I’ll cut out meat completely but right now I feel fine with the amount that I eat which is very minimal. Sandwiches are hard for me to give up. I’ve found they are what I crave a lot of times. I now only use one slice of bread and minimal meats and stock up the veggies on it.

My future goals/steps: getting more sun (it’s almost winter here in NY), eating more raw foods, fasting for longer, water fasting for 3, 7 and 14 days. Making more probiotics including pickles. Incorporating more Liquids of Vitality. Try out the activated charcoal cleanse. When I get my own place I want to start a garden!

The biggest thing I need to be better at is working out more intensely. I exercise at least 3 times a week. Sometimes 5 or 6 days. Usually those days I do stretching, weight lifting, and light jogging. At my peak weight running was so difficult on my lower back and my ankles. Now it is much easier but it is time to push for more. I have less of mental block now. I can run 1-2 miles much more easily now without wanting to give up but I want to push myself to 3-5 miles. Also I want to work more on High intensity workouts to shorten the time I spend in the gym. I want to spend more time stretching, gaining flexibility in order to gain more Useful strength to do things like pull ups, handstands, and long distance running.

Love you all. Ask me anything!
