One very important aspect of helping others is giving (or imparting) part of yourself to others. There are also very fascinating aspects that include exchanging with others, which also includes receiving help and other resources from others who give freely.

Over the years, I have helped people find their way out of many strong addictions and pain from abuse they have suffered in the past. On a regular basis, I lend day-to-day experience and wisdom to members of my community.

Helping others, I find, to be an honor. The first step included bettering myself and volunteering. Over time, I experienced enlightenment and found people were turning to me for help. Simultaneously, people have turned to me to offer and lend advice about things that I never solicited or shared; the experience is very humble and magical.

On a much broader level, the catalyst for all of these many magic moments was the sharing of knowledge. This works both ways! Sharing is magical and allows people to receive information and has allowed myself to stand corrected and experience growth. Sometimes both myself and others around me experienced growth at the same time.

Giving of yourself, giving yourself to others, helping others; sharing! Sometimes I’ve shared my own problems with others that I’ve barely known in settings that allow a sincere conversation. This could be at a fitness club, work, or at the supermarket. The action initiates communication. Open and honest communication develops discovery.

Through discovery, people discover one another. We learn each other’s strengths and passions, and, hopefully develop a welcoming atmosphere of acceptance and form a connection.

Life has a balancing effect; resources distribute and are shared naturally. On a conscious level, we may be taken by surprise by this natural law. Someone helps when we are in need, we stumble upon people that share similar beliefs and values, and connect with people of the same heart.

Love can not exist in the presence of hate. When we embody love, all the hate disappears and “people that love” connect with each other; AND PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP, fundamentally need love. If they’re looking for help on a subconscious, conscious, or any level, the need will be presented and just like water; love will find it’s path – it will find it’s way.

It may sound simple or silly, however, love is free and universal. Sharing it with others has always been my universal ticket for helping others — give it freely, it will multiply and be life changing. Not only for yourself — but for others.
