I have stubborn acne that is on my face, back and chest! I eat a vegan diet and it did improve on a vegan diet but it is still persisting. Not sure what I need to do to rid myself of face and body acne.

    • I have direct experience with this one. Acne is a result of build up of acid waste in the blood that is being expelled through the skin. Alkalize the body! Dark greens and or I used 1/2 tsp sodium bicarbonate in a glass of water before bed and upon rising in the morning. Ingest a tbsp apple cider/coconut vinegar right before meals, as it stimulates the release of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Also use probiotics and enzymes to heal a leaky gut. GMO/roundup ready/glyphosate contribute to leaky gut. Stay balanced and more alkaline to have smooth healthy skin. Drink lots of structured water to help with flushing toxins and hydration. All the best to you and let me know how you do with this. Thanks for sharing.

    • I drink a 32 oz green smoothie every morning with kale, romaine and spinach and some fruit to sweeten, along with salads for lunch or dinner. I have started putting apple cider vinegar on my salads with lemon juice. For ingesting the tbsp of apple cider vinegar do I mix the coconut vinegar together? or I can use either of them? I also am taking probiotics and digestive enzymes because I am pretty sure I have leaky gut. I will try to the sodium bicarbonate as well.

    • Also don’t I want to avoid having hydrochloric acid in my stomach because that is what the stomach secretes to break down protein and creates an acid environment?

    • Hi Andrea, What type of products, i.e. cosmetics are you using? Having been a makeup artist for over 20 years, I can tell you most everything on the market (including natural brands) have tons of allergens. What hair products are you using, often back acne is caused by residual conditioner cloggin pores? Are you using a shower dechlorinator? Have you tried coconut oil or neem?

    • The smoothie, salads, enzymes and probiotics are great, you are doing awesome!!! You can use either apple cider or the coconut vinegar and yes we need the hydrochloric stomach acid. Here is a great video explaining the effect of high PH water on stomach function long term. All the best. –Tom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O6GhVCvVgE

    • The stomach will balance the acidity naturally after the food passes. I like to use cayenne pepper in my smoothies also. It is great for blood flow and ulcers. Naturally balanced structured water does not cause disharmony in the stomach after meals.

    • I recommend oil pulling and bentonite clay

    • I use Sally B’s skin yummies brand. I use their Get even Power. I do not wear any other make up. I just ordered a foundation from 100% to try out but I am not sold on it yet, seems to heavy for me. Are these brands okay? I currently am using Alba coconut shampoo and conditioner. It is almost gone so I picked up shampoo and conditioner from Organic Excellence. I do not have a dechlorinator. And I have tried coconut oil on my face but it seemed to clog my pores, I could be wrong and I have not tried neem.

    • Bentonite clay on my acne? and oil pulling for acne?

    • Bentonite clay internally for intestinal toxin absorbing/cleansing and oil pulling for same in the mouth.
