How does one stop doing something they did before they were born??? I am talking about BREAD. What a drug, A drug for the masses, and one of the hardest to let go of for me that is. Dead empty skeletonised calories, it makes me sick. But that white fluffy powder finds its way back into to me again and again. GRRRR

    • I too find this one a challenge. When I am off it I am fine, but when I eat it everything goes out of sync like blood sugar level; hydration; digestion; sugar cravings like mad! I would suggest just taking it day by day, not eating it, make sure you eat chlorella or some form of algae to stabalize blood sugar level, and if you do eat it be sure to drink 1 litre of coconut water which can help with the digestion and also stop the sugar cravings. Best to avoid altogether!

    • For me, I went to quinoa and coconut flour and never really looked back. I also had to include egg, but imo, pastured eggs are way healthier than something that tears up your digestive walls.. even though it’s not optimal. I just ate like quinoa or coconut flour/egg recipes and I now no longer even desire bread. And bread was my ABSOLUTE weakness. Like seriously, toast was heaven on earth to me. Now when I think about it, I just think “meh” rather than salivate about it.

    • Sun Flower, broccoli or alfalfa sprouts . . . place two handfuls on a plate . . . and dress with Earthshift Organisms Aminos (soy sauce alternative) or Bragg Liquid Aminos (from soy protein; has salty taste) and Just Mayo from Hampton Creek (pea-protein based mayonase tastes like Best Foods brand). Adjust for taste and you have created a loaf of “sprouted bread in the raw” (I make mine taste like a juicy hamburger; add a little ketchup for Jack in the Box taste). Sprouts are easy to prepare and a great raw food.
