Gut Microbiome 7 years, 6 months agoShould ferments make my stomach gurgle and hurt a bit? I am lactose intolerant but didn’t use any in the ferments except a little juice from yogurt. Maybe too much of a good thing? On my first day of water fasting I was eating sweet relish from the store. That didn’t bother me.

Original Healthy Recipes 7 years, 6 months agoHere is my recipe for “magnet water.” I guess it makes it more alkaline which the body likes, and it is sparkling clear. We have well water (140 ft. deep) and a whole house salt filtration system. The water still has the metallic flavor of “keys” (as my baby used to say. Remember that flavor from childhood?) (Goodwill bought) in every room (I think its 14 now) and a TV in most rooms. We have Direct TV and lines for Dish if they go up on him. One big TV (not flat) that is 10 years old. Sauna tactics 7 years, 6 months agoI don’t have a Sauna. I will have to look into local hotels that offer spa memberships. Maybe see how much they cost to buy or for my husband to build. This will take time. Being a slightly impatient do it myselfer, however, I initially thought I can steam the bathroom and use a heater, BUT the wallpaper will peel off! Not good. Original Healthy Recipes 7 years, 6 months ago(I am moving this from my initial posting when I joined). 🙂 Today I started some flax crackers and a banana ferment. I don’t have a food dehydrator. Wondering if I can keep the oven on low and keep turning it off for 5 hrs? I’ll have to see how much they cost and get one.
